MomentOfFame.com™ Picture Site Debuts
Camarillo, CA, November 1, 1999--MomentOfFame.com™ is a dynamic web-based forum of pictures designed to give everyone their special moment. The object is to just have fun by sharing one's pictures with others having similar interests. MomentOfFame.com opens up the web to the millions of Internet users who use email but have no website.
Anyone can simply send an email message to MomentOfFame.com enclosing a picture in JPEG, or GIF format along with a title, category, optional caption, and optional URL link. The image is automatically displayed in the user-selected category. A new picture is displayed in full size until replaced by a later picture in the same category. Older pictures are reduced to thumbnail links to their full size, and eventually are deleted from the system. Categories include fishing, children, parties, modeling, pets, and graduations, etc., and anyone can suggest new categories and subcategories. Having a party or special event? Encourage party-goers to take pictures and upload them to your party category. And tell your guests and friends to visit MomentOfFame.com for some great memories.
Visitors to MomentOfFame.com can browse pictures by category or view a random image with a single click. Every picture includes a counter to allow users to judge the popularity of their pictures. Most Popular and a Most Recent links also provide views into the picture base. Visitors can be notified when a new image is entered in a category that is of interest to them, simply by leaving their email address. Visitors can also email an image, or a URL for that image, to a friend by simply clicking a button.
MomentOfFame.com usage is completely free. There is no need to fill out forms or tedious account information. Pick a category, and post a picture by sending an email ¾ it's that easy.
