Camarillo, California, July 18, 2002 - Mainstay today began shipping version 6.0 of it's best selling cross-platform flowcharting application WinFlow(TM). This important upgrade is essential for users who are planning to upgrade to Windows 2000 or Windows XP, and offers valuable new features -- including spell checking, and greater ease of use.

New features in WinFlow 6.0 include:

    - Spell Checking: one of the most requested features, WinFlow 6.0 now sports a powerful built-in spell checker that corrects misspelled words in symbols, on lines, and all static text on a page.
    
    - Windows 2000 and Windows XP Compatibility: Users upgrading to either of these operating systems need WinFlow 6.0.
    
    - Zoom Controls: WinFlow 6.0 now offers an improved zoom feature that offers fine-grain control to make symbol, line, text and graphics placement easier than every before.

    - New Symbols: New symbols have been added based on past user requests.  Users can easily add to WinFlow's extensible symbol library.

 WinFlow 6.0 is file-level compatible with WinFlow 5, and requires no file conversion from charts created in this earlier version of WinFlow.  For those using Macintosh, WinFlow 6.0 is still file-level compatible with MacFlow files (version 5.0 or later).

Upgrades of WinFlow 6.0 can be purchased today directly from Mainstay's website.  The upgrade includes an installation program, and a complete user guide in PDF format.  WinFlow 6.0 upgrades are $99 and can be downloaded for no additional charge (shipping charges do apply for CD deliveries).
